- Saturday 7.00pm at St Gerards – 71 Gladstone Road, Dandenong North
- Sunday 8.00am, 9.30am, 11.00am and 6.00pm at Thornbury Church
Baptisms:
Baptisms are usually performed on Sunday, but can be performed any other time during the week. Please contact any of Parish Clergy to make a suitable appointment.
Baptism Certificates are available upon request from the Church Office. Please phone 9480 2059 during the week.
Weddings:
Weddings are normally on a Saturday or Sunday. It is normal that each couple attend Marriage Preparations Program some six months before their wedding date. Some weddings are booked a year in advance. Please contact the parish Clergy to make a booking.
Sick Calls:
An important duty of the priest is to visit the sick in the parish. When anyone from your family is sick or in hospital could you please notify one of the priests in the Parish to visit and bring Communion.
Reconciliation (Confession):
All expected to have Reconciliation during the year. In our Maronite parish there is always a priest in the Reconciliation room during the Mass on Sunday. You can also make contact with the priests at any convenient time.
Bible Study:
It is important for us to know more about our Bible. Wednesday nights at Saint Charbel Monastery at 8.00 pm English.
Legion of Mary:
This is a group within the Parish who help the priests and co-ordinate prayers and welfare groups within the parish.
Maronite Youth Group:
The Youth of the Parish have always been an integral part of the life of our Community. The Youth Group organises activities around the church in an effort to bring Youth to Church. They also organise many other activities, trips, parties for all in the Community.
Executive Committee:
Made up of volunteers form the parish who meet each week to help develop our new church.
Church Committee:
This is a group of Volunteers who meet and look after church affairs. They usually collect the plates on Sunday, do the banking, pay church bills, help organise functions for the Church.
Fundraising Committee:
A group of volunteers from the parish who plan and organise fundraising for the new church. They meet regularly, help organise fundraising functions, sell bread outside church, organised the Car Raffle.
Community Volunteers:
A group of volunteers who help the elderly in the community. They organize a monthly Mass at Saint Paul’s Hostel, for the elderly. They arrange transport for the elderly and help with refreshments.
